Hiways are fully committed to acheiving the highest levels of health and safety. We employ a full time Compliance Manager whose responsibilities include the management of our Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental compliance objectives.
Hiways have worked tirelessly throughout all levels of our business and are proud to have met the Tertiary Status requirements for ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP) and has achieved NZS 4801 accreditation. This places Hiways amongst a select few companies in New Zealand to have achieved this highest level of Heath and Safety certification.
Hiways management team are committed to the health and safety of our work force. All employees have undertaken appropriate training for and are registered under "Site Safe" and "Operate Safe" and all partake in regular health and safety and first aid training as well as regular health check ups.
