Overview
Hiway Stabilizers are New Zealands' largest specialist stabilising road construction contractor and are also a very experienced general and civil works contractor. Hiways provide clients with the benefit of experience, technology and proven expertise developed over 30 years of contracting.
Hiways commenced trading in 1982 following many years of association with and involvement in the local contracting industry and have accumulated an extensive range of achievements within the industry.
Hiways has developed core competencies in road construction and stabilisation, civil works, earthworks and more recently in ground improvement works. This work is carried out throughout the Rodney District specifically, the greater Auckland areas and also throughout other regions of New Zealand.

Hiway Environmental is a trading division of Hiway GeoTechnical Ltd. Hiway Environmental is contracting company which provides specialist "environmental" contracting services including specific site remediation, treatment of materials prior to landfill disposal, specific geotechnical and environmental works, stabilisation and materials processing.
Hiway Environmental specialises in environmental contracting including all types of stabilisation/solidification, soil recycling, contaminated site remediation, bioremediation, mud-creting, de-sludging, recycled concrete crushing, materials recycling, permeable reactive barriers and containment. Hiway Environmental has completed numerous high profile and sensitive projects relating to site contamination and protection, this includes recent jobs for the NZ Navy where contaminated soils were stabilised to achieve landfill TCLP acceptance criteria. Hiway Environmental has also successfully completed the removal of over 800m3 of contaminated sludge from the Auckland Domain duck ponds, a site where cleanliness and public relations were of the highest priority.
