Overview

Hiway Environmental is a trading division of Hiway GeoTechnical Ltd. Hiway Environmental is contracting company which provides specialist "environmental" contracting services including specific site remediation, treatment of materials prior to landfill disposal, specific geotechnical and environmental works, stabilisation and materials processing.

Hiway Environmental specialises in environmental contracting including all types of stabilisation/solidification, soil recycling, contaminated site remediation, bioremediation, mud-creting, de-sludging, recycled concrete crushing, materials recycling, permeable reactive barriers and containment. Hiway Environmental has completed numerous high profile and sensitive projects relating to site contamination and protection, this includes recent jobs for the NZ Navy where contaminated soils were stabilised to achieve landfill TCLP acceptance criteria.  Hiway Environmental has also successfully completed the removal of over 800m3 of contaminated sludge from the Auckland Domain duck ponds, a site where cleanliness and public relations were of the highest priority.
